Certificates of membership

A Certified Member Certificate shall be awarded to member companies who have been certified to an acceptable quality standard and paid the membership fees. The certificate shall be valid for 1 year

Non-Certified Membership

A Non-Certified Member Certificate shall be awarded to member companies who are working towards the certification to an acceptable quality standard and have paid the membership fees. The certificate shall be valid for 1 year.

Entries on the EASO website

Certified Suppliers shall be listed on the Certified Suppliers list on the EASO website. Certified Members shall be listed on the Certified Suppliers list on the EASO website and have a link to their own website.

Non-Certified Members shall be listed on the Non-Certified Members list and have a link to their own website.

Suspension of membership

The Director of Quality for any of the following reasons may suspend any membership grade:

  • Criminal Investigation
  • Suspected practices that may contravene aviation safety and/or lead to the introduction of suspected unapproved parts into the supply chain.
  • Suspicion of bringing the Organisation into disrepute.
  • Any other substantial suspicion of breaching the Supplier Code of Practice or Airworthiness Regulations.
  • Non-payment of Fees.

Expulsion of Companies from membership.

The Director of Quality shall expel any member for any of the following reasons:

  • Proven Criminal activity
  • Practices that may contravene aviation safety and/or lead to the introduction of suspected unapproved parts into the supply chain
  • Bringing the Organisation into disrepute
  • Non-Payment of fees
  • Any other substantial reason in breach of Organisation or Airworthiness Regulations.

Right of appeal

Each member has the right of appeal against a suspension or expulsion. The appeal must be made in writing within 14 days of the suspension or expulsion to the Managing Director. An appeals Board will be set up and a hearing made to make a decision.

Airworthiness Authority Audits

The EASA is responsible for the oversight of the EASO Review activity and may carry out Quality Audits on the EASO office.

EASA Part 145 Company Audits

EASA Part 145 and other Approved companies may carry out Quality Audits of EASO as required by EASA a request will be made to carry out an audit and the EASO Quality Director will liaise with the Part 145 Company on the Audit. Access to members records may be required.

Conferences

Conferences will be held once per annum at Venues to be decided by the Director of Quality. At least 1 Conference per year must be made in Mainland Europe.

The conference will include a Workshop on a subject determined by the Quality Council

The agenda will include the following:

  • Introduction
  • Membership Status
  • Guest Speaker (When Available)
  • Any other subject as applicable
  • AGM and Finance at year end.

There shall be a nominal charge for Conferences

Workshops

A Workshop will be held at each conference on a subject to be determined by the Quality Council from suggestions by members. The cost of the workshop will be included in the price of the conference. A nominal charge will be made for guests.

Fees

Membership Fees are payable annually on receipt of Invoice

Non-payment of Fees

The Director of Quality will be notified of non-payment of fees exceeding 3 months. The Director of Quality will write a personal letter requesting payment and informing the member of the consequences. Should the non-payment exceed 6 months the member will be suspended. If the non-payment continues then the member will be expelled after 7 months non-payment removed from the listings.
