Introduction

The Organisation shall be known as the European Aviation Suppliers Organisation (EASO)

Membership of EASO is open to organisations worldwide whose core activity is the storage and supply of aircraft materials in accordance with the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) /Federal Aviation Administration standards and practices. All members must meet these Quality Standards and/or other approved standards and has paid the appropriate subscription.

The objective of EASO is to work, through consensus, amongst its members to provide representation for, and to promote the best interests of its members. EASO will continually strive to obtain representation for its members at the highest levels with Organisations and regulatory bodies, which will enhance the standing of EASO.

The Organisation exists in the interest of Aviation Safety by ensuring members are aware of and comply with the regulatory requirements for the storage and supply of Aircraft Parts and Materials.

 

The Aims of EASO

  • To promote Aviation Safety amongst member organizations and the wider aerospace community.
  • To maintain and update the register of Certified Suppliers.
  • To enable members to have a voice within the Aviation Industry on matters that affect their operations.
  • To be recognized as a responsible body of Quality Organisations
  • To assist Non Certified members in becoming certified to the appropriate Quality Management Standard as required by EASA.
  • To continually improve member’s skills and knowledge base through training and education.
  • To keep members informed of legislative and regulatory changes.

Suppliers Code of Practice

To actively support and promote the aims of EASO.

  • To continually strive for customer satisfaction.
  • To positively interact with the customer at all levels.
  • To strive for a policy of nil returns.
  • To promote a positive, friendly and safe working environment.
  • To always employ best working practices.
  • To encourage and reward proactive thought within the company.
  • To adopt a policy of continuous training.
  • To encourage communication between management and staff.
  • Promote aviation safety and awareness within the Aerospace industry.
  • To encourage open reporting on aviation safety issues.
  • To comply with the appropriate regulations in force

 

Membership

Certified Member

An Aerospace Organisation who has paid the appropriate fees and meets the requirements of the AS/EN 9120 Quality Management Standard for Aircraft Part Suppliers or other accepted standard and has been certified by an Accredited third party Certification body. A Certified member has a full vote.

Non Certified Member

An Aerospace Organisation who has paid the appropriate fees and has expressed a desire to be involved in matters affecting aviation safety and/or is preparing for certification to AS/EN 9120 Quality Management Standard for Aircraft Part Suppliers. A Non-certified member has a full vote.
